Moody Monday

It's dreary and raining and I had to wait extra long in the car drop this morning after an extra-early carpool pick up day.  I had one more stop to drop my sweet baby off with his caretaker and then I was still on par to make it to my office on time ... until the traffic completely jammed with just over two miles to work.  I was twenty-five minutes late.

Nevertheless, I'm in a great mood!  I had a very productive weekend and have started with most of the laundry done, groceries in the kitchen and all the living room put back in order.  Yes, there are still boxes of Christmas decor in the dining area, but I'll get to that later today.  It was a full Saturday and Sunday but the effort is rewarded with work accomplished and I even managed a brief Sunday afternoon nap.  Success.

Thank you for reading.  I very much appreciate all the encouragement!

  2. I know what you mean about having take care of the groceries and laundry can make one feel on top of it! I despise doing laundry but I'm always so happy when I'm done!

  10. Hi Missy.. I came across your blog as I just started mine. I enjoyed reading some of your blogs..I do have a lot to catch up on to get me up to speed with you. But glad that you were still in a good mood considering how it was going with traffic etc. We can sometimes be put into a bad mood very easily based on how things are going, and it takes a great mind to look beyond it.

  12. I just came across your blog when creating my first post. It's always nice to talk to other single moms out there and to hear that they have the some types of days and mornings as you do no matter where you are. Good luck to you I hope to read more in the future.

  15. My sister just introduced me to your blog. I really appreciate all that you have shared. I am 26 years old and going through a divorce right now. I have a 2 year old son and have only been a couple of days a week since he was born so that I could be with him more. Now I have to find a full time job, a new home, figure out how to be a single mom, deal with the grief of losing a relationship I was in since I was 15 years old, and recover from finding out I was cheated on and from being verbally abused. I feel like I can identify with so much that you have written.
